  • As the new school year begins in September and autumn temperatures create favorable conditions for mosquito breeding, the activity of Aedes albopictus and Aedes aegypti (the “tiger mosquito”) has significantly increased. These mosquitoes are the main vectors of mosquito-borne infectious diseases such as dengue fever and chikungunya fever. Chikungunya fever continues to spread across several provinces in China. Due to routine mosquito control operations, Aedes mosquitoes are migrating from outdoors to indoors, greatly increasing the pressure on prevention and control in crowded places such as schools and households. With more than 30 years of experience in the mosquito repellent field, Huali has consistently upheld its social responsibility of “mosquito prevention and epidemic fighting, health protection.” The company reminds the public that mosquito prevention should not be neglected after autumn, and is fully committed to safeguarding people’s health.

  • September to October is the critical window for chikungunya fever prevention and control. Eliminating standing water and disrupting mosquito breeding environments are at the core of prevention efforts. The technical team at Huali advises regular cleaning of outdoor green belts, standing water areas, flower pot saucers, air conditioner drain pipes, discarded containers, as well as indoor sanitary dead corners such as under kitchen sinks and bathroom corners. These measures help curb mosquito breeding at the source, avoid the aggregation of Aedes mosquitoes and virus transmission, and ensure the health and safety of students and family members.
  • To build a strong defense line at the community level, Huali is actively carrying out public welfare initiatives. The company, together with Nanguo Morning Post, donated mosquito prevention supplies to sanitation workers in Nanning and provided on-site education on mosquito-borne disease transmission and outdoor protection, helping frontline workers enhance their self-protection capabilities. Under the guidance of the Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Huali’s technical team went into communities to help inspect and clean key mosquito breeding areas, conducted professional outreach using graphic displays and brochures, and donated mosquito prevention products to residents, with special attention to the protection needs of the elderly and children. These efforts help communities establish a dual prevention system combining “environmental cleaning + scientific mosquito control.”
  • Rooted in Guangxi and serving the whole country, Huali contributes to public health and epidemic prevention through professional products and a strong sense of responsibility. Going forward, the company will continue to closely monitor mosquito activity, work with all sectors of society to strengthen the autumn health defense line, and contribute its professional expertise to the prevention and control of mosquito-borne infectious diseases.
